Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Oxford Political Review (OPR) is celebrating the launch of its 14th print issue with a panel discussion on the narratives of the new political order.
Molly Andrews is a UCL Honorary Professor of Political Psychology, and Co-Director of the Association for Narrative Research and Practice. Her research focuses on political narratives, the psychological basis of political commitment, political identity, patriotism, and ageing.
Phil Tinline is a journalist and the author of The Death of Consensus: 100 Years of British Political Nightmares, which was named the Times’ Politics Book of the Year in 2022. His next book, Ghosts of Iron Mountain, about America’s political nightmares, will be published at the end of March.
