OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

The Merton Equality Conversation 2022 - 'Free Speech vs. Equal Speech in an Era of Informal Activism'
Professor Bejan will speak on ‘Free Speech vs. Equal Speech’; Dr Ogunye’s remarks will focus on ‘Social norms and informal activism: On the efficacy of ‘cancel culture’.’
Following the conversation, audience members will be able to engage in the discussion by participating in a Q&A session.
The event will be followed by a drinks reception.
