OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

The Future of Drama: Contemporary theatre manifestos
This session will explore several manifestos which have recently been published by contemporary theatre companies, particularly the NT Ghent Manifesto and New Diorama Theatre’s Intervention 01. This discussion will hope to raise issues of inclusivity, sustainability and diversity in modern theatre-making practices while also considering the role of public manifestos in constructing and developing visions of future drama.
As part of the TORCH Reimagining Performance Network, this reading group will meet fortnightly to discuss texts, read plays, and watch theatre in a relaxed and social setting.
No prior study or knowledge of theatre required – all are welcome!
