Public Talk – Oxford – a place for medical innovation
On the occasion of the NHS 70th anniversary, Professor Keith Channon, Director NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre will look at the importance of Oxford in the history of medical research and how this has benefited the NHS. He will explore how the city’s hospitals and the University’s medical school work increasingly closer together to benefit NHS patients and he will look forward to some of the medical innovations that Oxford-based researchers are currently working on in our hospitals.
