OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Dr Mark Byford interviewed by Dr Richard Bell
Mark is a Senior Partner at Egon Zehnder, the global management consulting and leadership advisory firm. He heads up the Firm’s UK Healthcare practice. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Mark was a Consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. He began his career as a junior fellow at Oxford University, where he researched and taught 16th century English history. Mark has a first-class degree in modern history from New College at Oxford University, a DPhil in 16th-century history from Oxford, and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. He is a member of the history faculty at Oxford.
Of particular interest to early career colleagues and current DPhil students, the next in our series of ‘With my History Doctorate I became a…’ interviews is at 13:00 on Tuesday 24th November 2020. Career Development Fellow Richard Bell will interview Mark Byford, a senior partner at Egon Zehnder, the global management consulting and leadership advisory firm.
