On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Are men more dishonest than women? Or is that just another stereotype? How does this impact our working lives? Join us for a thought-provoking presentation by Johannes Abeler as we dive into the science of lying – where human psychology, morality, and economics collide.
This talk explores real experiments involving thousands of people across the globe, revealing how we balance money, truth, and reputation when no one is watching. Whether you’re curious about behavioural economics or just want to settle the age-old debate between the sexes, this is one talk you won’t want to miss.
