Creative Criticism and Other Stories
This is a double book launch to celebrate the publication of Elena Lombardi’s and Nicola Gardini’s latest books, Ulysses, Dante, and Other Stories (ICT Berlin Press 2023) and Io sono salute. Quando la letteratura incontra la medicina [I am health. When literature and medicine meet] (Aboca 2023). Even though their subjects vary, or so it appears, these volumes share a common methodology (creative criticism) as well as a courageous, life-enhancing, and rigorous vision of literature: its responsibility and freedom to look for meaning and create sense.

During what it promises to be an honest exploration of literature’s falls and forces, Marta Arnaldi will be in dialogue with the authors to discuss the potential of creative approaches to literary scholarship, and to discover lost and/or new words to better understand what it means to be humans.

The language used during this event is English.

Everyone is welcome.
