OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
OUMNH Public Lecture: How to save the Earth in Four Steps
Zoology researcher Henry Grub is giving the Museum of Natural History’s next public lecture. A group of 22 different institutions, led by researchers at the University of Oxford, have developed the “Mitigation & Conservation Hierarchy” – a plan for how we might go about achieving our biodiversity goals from 2021-2050. Known as #4Steps4TheEarth, its four simple steps can be used by everyone, from governments and business to cities and individuals, with the aim of addressing our impact on the world’s biodiversity in a frank, fair, and flexible way.
This lecture is for a general audience, so only an interest in the natural world is required!
