OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Tegan Hadisi, MPhil Scholar in International Development, will explore how TikTok has transformed from a simple social media platform into a powerful digital battleground, shaping migration narratives, influencing public perception and impacting policy.
Equipping for Hard Times: Invisible University for Ukraine.
Yevhen Yashchuk, DPhil Scholar in History, will showcase how hybrid and flexible initiatives of education may successfully support students in the war-affected areas and create tools to make sense of the lived experiences.
Followed by a drink’s reception.
