OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Working with the media
Ever wondered what the national media are looking for in a science story? Or how you can make sure the public find out about your latest research? The Media teams at the University and Oxford University Hospitals have developed a training session focused on raising the profile of your research with the public. The session will give you an insight into the role of press officers in the University and in Oxford University Hospitals/Oxford BRC. We’ll also take you through the process of putting together a press release and working with the media. The sessions are suitable for all, regardless of funding body.
