OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Recruiter Spotlight: Evotec
This event is open only to current post-doctoral researchers from Medical Sciences at the University of Oxford.
Evotec is a global leader in providing end to end shared R&D for drug discovery and development projects by providing solutions on a stand-alone basis or through holistic, fully integrated capabilities. Evotec works through partnerships to deliver medicines that matter with a focus on capabilities in PanOmics, iPSC technologies and Biologics. The company is disease agnostic, but recent collaborations show success in oncology, neuroscience and kidney disease. Evotec employees a range of scientists including chemists, biologists and computation scientists as well as those supporting operations including project management, alliance management, finance, legal and business development.
In this talk, you will hear about what it is like to work at Evotec, transitioning from academia to industry and transitioning to out of the lab careers, as well as what roles are generally available and what skills are in demand at the company.
You will have the opportunity to network over lunch after the seminar.
