Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Sir Hilary, Vice-Chancellor of the University of the West Indies, will deliver the first Race and the Curriculum Lecture on 26 January 2016 at 5pm at the Oxford Martin School. His lecture is entitled: Britain’s Black Debt: Reparatory Justice and the Restoration of ‘moral nation status’. As well as his role as Vice-Chancellor, he is Vice-President of the International Task force for the UNESCO Slave Route Project and Chairman of the Caribbean Community [CARICOM] Commission on Reparation and Social Justice.
