OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Undergraduate Thesis Session for students interested in thesis topics 1680-1850

Two current undergraduates will discuss the experience and findings of their recently-completed theses, and there will be opportunities to ask questions to the speakers, and to graduates and faculty working in the field. The focus of the seminar is primarily on British History, but both papers will cover Britain’s global engagement within this period.
The meeting will take place in the Turl Yard Lecture Room, Lincoln College (ask at the college lodge for directions). Tea and coffee will be available from 4.45pm.
