OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Community Engagement within Research Uptake: Maternal and Child Health
If research is to deliver its maximum impact and positively change health outcomes, findings from health research should be translated into recommendations that are relevant to communities and can be implemented within policy and practice.
ARCH and Mesh are working in partnership to present the “Community Engagement within Research Uptake” webinar series exploring the role of community engagement within the process of applying research to changes in health policy and practice. This first event will focus on maternal and child health. We will be joined by two inspiring researchers who will share their experiences of the power of participatory research and engagement to improve health services and well-being in marginalised communities in Kenya and Bangladesh.
