OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Development in Africa: A Discussion
Join us as we discuss development and the roles of development charities in improving lives for those on the continent of Africa.
How can organisations and government work together to meet shared aims like the Sustainable Development Goals? What can we do to help? Should we be supporting development charities or be calling for wider change?

Dr. Tonson Sango -Director of Operation Books to Africa (St. Catherine’s College JCR Charity of the Year
Dr. Alex Money – tutor in Geography at St Catherine’s College and a programme director at Oxford’s Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, where his research interests include corporate water strategy, infrastructure, investment, renewables and development.
Open to all- they’ll be someone at the Catz plodge to point you in the right direction!
