OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Spatial colocalisation of neoantigen-expressing tumour cells and cognate T-cells in cancer
Amit is a Wellcome Trust Early Career Fellow and Haematologist based at the Oxford Centre for Immuno-oncology and the Wellcome Sanger Institute’s Division of Generative Genomics. He holds a medical degree with Distinction from the University of Manchester and completed his Haematology training in South West London (Royal Marsden).
Amit completed his PhD with Professor Richard Houlston at the Institute of Cancer Research, London, investigating genetic risk factors and clinical translation for cancers. As an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow, he worked on the 100,000 Genomes Project to define genomic and neo-antigen landscapes and actionable drug targets. Recently, he worked at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, in the lab of Professor Catherine Wu, advancing spatial genomic technology to genotype TCR and mutations at single-nucleus resolution. Currently, he is at the Wellcome Sanger Institute utilising mutagenesis screens in cancer.
