A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. On 13-14 May, over 130 countries came together in Berlin for the UN Peacekeeping Ministerial to discuss the future of peacekeeping and to make concrete pledges to fund and support it. This panel will look at the outcomes of the Ministerial in the wider context of current international political and financial turbulence. It will consider: – How geopolitical tensions are impacting UN peacekeeping – What specific challenges the UN is facing and whether and how it can adapt to them – How key conflicts can be addressed going forward – What we can learn from member state engagement at the Ministerial
