OxTalks Change Freeze Starts 2 March
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Graduate Student Presentations: History of Emotions Seminar
This session will feature three student presentations:-
Paper 1: Miracle, emotions, and space: shaping lay devotion in Counter-Reformation Catholicism — Joshua Rushton (University of Leeds)
Paper 2: ‘Transported with Joy’: Mme de Staël and Mary Wollstonecraft on the Revolutionary Crowd (1789–1792) — Cathleen Mair (Queen Mary, University of London)
Paper 3: Colonial melancholy, āvārāgardi and the urban idler in Saadat Hasan Manto’s Bombay stories — Farha Noor (University of Heidelberg)
