OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The Father (2021) by Florian Seller
A fiction rather than an ethnographic film. Using repetitive and scattered narrative, the film tells the experience of Anthony gradually succumbing to dementia. As he tries to make sense of his changing circumstances, he begins to doubt his loved ones, his own mind and even the fabric of his reality.
