Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
AI could be used to advance equality at work, or could lead to growing inequality in the workplace. This seminar examines the ways in which AI could be equality-enhancing, or equality-detracting, and the measures that need to be taken to ensure AI is a tool that strengthens workplace equality. It considers how discrimination law might respond to the emergence of new technologies, and the gaps that might emerge when relying on individual claims and complaints to address discrimination occasioned by AI. Rather than relying on individual action, this seminar considers how collective action and other regulatory tools could be used to ensure AI benefits everyone at work.
