OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

The Chaplaincy’s Inspiring Service event invites attendees to take part in a discussion about the progression of students into a life characterized by authentic vocation. It will be in the Pichette Auditorium of Pembroke College at 5pm on Friday 23rd November, 2018. The event will be exploring in particular how one translates Christian doctrine into Christian service and what has inspired the panellists to a life of service in the academy, politics, and faith communities.
The panel will feature the Rt Revd & Rt Hon Lord Rowan Williams, the Revd Prof Frances Young, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, and Lord David Alton.
All are welcome to this free event, however, attendees must register for a ticket on Eventbrite.
