Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. The Santa Casa was one of the greatest pilgrimage sites in the world until it was sacked by Napoleon in 1797. It still enshrines the small stone dwelling from Nazareth where Mary grew up, received the angel Gabriel, and then brought up Jesus. This large and unusual relic was brought to Italy by angels for safe-keeping.
