OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. BDI Seminar: Medical Research and Intellectual Property Rights / things to consider and things to avoid
This is an informal review of the role of intellectual property rights over the past few years in medical research, in particular:
i) What intellectual property rights actually exist in clinical data and medical discoveries;
ii) How have these rights been used and exploited: the virtuous and the not so virtuous;
iii) Things to be careful about and things to avoid (other than lawyers generally).
