OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Consulting: Using Your Research and Critical Thinking Skills
The significant knowledge researchers possess and their skills for critical thinking and communication are all hugely valuable for clients beyond academia.
From advising on the implementation of novel technological or medical solutions, to project management and strategic thinking in finance or social enterprises, consultancy can be a stimulating and rewarding career for those moving beyond academia from any discipline and wanting to have impact.
This panel session will feature individuals who are PhD holders and are now working in consultancy across a range of sectors.
This session will focus on applications for positions beyond academia only.
