Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Adenoviruses have been used as delivery vectors in gene therapy applications for several decades, largely for cancer therapy applications, but they are rapidly gaining interest in the vaccinology community due their potency as vaccines for infectious disease. This talk will provide an overview of the background of Ad vectors, their limitations and promise for the future.
