OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Energy Seminar – HT25 Week 4: I ‘Jahn-Teller’ you what, LMFP Cells are going to be big
The UK currently has the capacity to produce approximately 2 GWh/year of batteries, with gigafactories under construction to generate additional 12 GWh/year (planned for operation in 2025) and 67 GWh/year by 2040. But what cell chemistries are needed for the market and why? Liquid or Solid-state; lithium-air or lithium-sulphur? Here, Louis will put forward the case for LMFP Li-ion batteries and present research results from his pilot line activities as part of the Faraday Institution Degradation project.
