Navigating STEM as a Person of Colour (POC): Panel discussion hosted by the BIPOC STEM Network
Navigating STEM as a Person of Colour (POC) is a panel discussion to be hosted by the University of Oxford’s BIPOC STEM Network.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about how successful scientists from a range of backgrounds and at various stages of their careers have navigated the particular challenges that academia presents to POC and BAME individuals.
Also, we’ll learn about what everyone can do to promote a more inclusive and diverse atmosphere in academia.
In the second half of the discussion we look forward to fielding questions from the audience.
This promises to be a stimulating and important discussion for all, therefore, all students and staff of the University are warmly welcome!
