OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Oxford University Chabad Society invites you to a lecture in honour of 87 years since ‘Kristallnacht’
Professor Sir Richard J Evans is the world’s leading historian of Nazi Germany and the Third Reich, former Regius Professor of History at Cambridge, and renowned for being the principal Expert Witness, winning the libel case brought by Holocaust denier David Irving against Deborah Lipstadt in 2000. He is a Fellow of the British Academy, the Royal Historical Society, the Royal Society of Literature and the Learned Society of Wales. He is the author of eighteen books, including his three-volume The Third Reich Trilogy (2003–2008), and most recently Hitler’s People: The Faces of the Third Reich. He has served as Vice-Master and Acting Master of Birkbeck, University of London, Chairman of the History Faculty at the University of Cambridge, and Provost of Gresham College, City of London, from 2014 to 2020.
