The Politics of Land: Insights from Asia
Part two of a two-day symposium held by the Laudato Si’ Research Institute, Campion Hall. This symposium will bring together academics and practitioners to explore and analyse issues of land governance, land dispossession, environmental protection, and the rights of indigenous communities in Asia. There will be a special focus on practical ethical insights from the recent papal encyclical ‘Fratelli Tutti’.
This event will be of interest to those working in agricultural and land use change, international development, and Asian studies, and to those exploring the implications of contemporary Catholic Social Teaching. Registration is free; all are welcome.
