INET Oxford Researcher Seminar with Yuqi Liang
About the speaker

Yuqi is a DPhil candidate at the Department of Sociology, and a member of St Catherine’s College. As a social scientist and programmer, Yuqi is passionate about using quantitative and computational methods (especially social network analysis and agent-based modelling) to understand social problems.

Yuqi’s DPhil thesis is about bridging the STEM gender gap from the perspectives of social network analysis and social experiments. In addition, Yuqi has work experience in full-stack programming, data analysis, and product operations in tech companies.
