OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Social Care and Older People in Home and Community Contexts in the UK
This presentation summarises the findings of a state-of-the-art review of the literature on social care for older people in the UK, paying particular attention to home-based and community care. The presentation poses three questions:
* What and where are the gaps in provision?
* What is being done to meet these gaps?
* What should the future policy and research agenda prioritise?
The presentation will be followed by an open discussion.
