During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Maria Montt is Associate Professor at the Institute of History, member of the Asian Studies Center, and Vice President of International Affairs at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her research examines the historical and cultural dimensions of China–Latin America relations, with particular emphasis on transnational intellectual networks, migration, public diplomacy, and the bilateral relationship between Chile and China. She is author of the Representations of China in Latin American Literature (1987-2016), and co-author, with Carol Chan and Elvira Ríos, of Chineseness in Chile.
