OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The discovery of Paxlovid- the journey of the Pfizer SARS2-Covid 19 drug
Dr Dafydd Owen, Senior Director Medicinal Chemistry, Pfizer, Cambridge Massachusetts will talk about: “The discovery of Paxlovid- the journey of the Pfizer SARS2-Covid 19 drug. ”
Dr Owen was the team leader at Pfizer to develop the oral inhibitor Paxlovid, targeting the SARS2-Covid 19 protease. This discovery was one of the milestones to mitigate the recent COVID19 pandemic.
