Speaker 1: Raymond Li: Head, BBC Chinese, ‘Is the existence of media getting less valuable in future?’

Appointed Head of BBC Chinese in July 2009. Before then he was BBC World Service‘s Head of Business Development for China and North Asia, based in Hong Kong. He was hugely successful in this role, securing syndication partnerships with leading Chinese websites for the BBC Chinese educational site, bbcukchina.com.

Speaker 2: Shrenik Rao, Founder and Managing Director, 7 Media Broadcasting, ‘Rapidly Changing Digital Environment, the Fundamentals of Newsonomics, and Building New Organisations into Multi-billion Dollar Digital Brands’

Shrenik Rao, the founder of two digital media companies 7MB (7 Media Broadcasting Pvt Ltd) and Dolsun Media and Fellow at Oxford University’s Reuters Institute of the Study of Journalism will speak about this rapidly changing digital environment and the fundamentals of Newsonomics and building news organisations into multi billion dollar digital brands.
