OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Derailed Cellular Choreography in the Skin Ulcer Niche: Roadblocks to Repair
In-person only
Chronic wounds are a major clinical challenge, traditionally thought to be “stuck” in inflammation. Our lab is redefining this view by investigating the underlying mechanisms that prevent effective tissue repair. Using experimental models and human samples, we are identifying key cellular and molecular pathways that drive repair failure, including changes in the perivascular niche. These insights challenge existing dogma and reveal new opportunities to improve outcomes for patients with chronic wounds.
