OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
IDEAL Conference 2021
The IDEAL 2021 Virtual Congress will bring together clinicians and researchers from all over the world. We will discuss the latest research methodology and developments for evaluating new surgical interventions and medical devices in a variety of clinical specialties. The programme will include live plenary sessions, workshops, sandpit sessions and selected presentations from submitted abstracts.
When: 15 and 16 April, 14.00-18.00 CEST (UTC+2).
We invite you to send in your abstract now! Abstracts may involve studies on new surgical techniques, on research methodologies in surgical innovation, ethical aspects of innovation in surgery, research policy making and purchasing decisions. Abstracts will be accepted as a poster presentation or oral presentation. For more details on the conference and abstracts see our FAQs below.
