Spirals in time - Exploring the scientific wonders of seashells
Delve into the secret lives of animals that make seashells – the molluscs and the fascinating science behind how shells are made. Author of ‘Spirals in Time’, featured on BBC Radio 4’s Book of the Week, and marine biologist Dr Helen Scales of the University of Cambridge will discuss the latest discoveries surrounding some of the smartest, oldest and toughest group of animals on the planet. Doors open at 6.45pm and access is via the side entrance opposite Catte St.
