Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. This year, participants were asked to tackle the thought-provoking question: “Is AI A Threat to Human Creativity?” We received a high number of submissions, making the selection process highly competitive, but we are pleased to announce the three finalists of this year’s Bernard Williams Essay Prize.
Johann Wefing, Xiaolang Deng, and Madoc Wade will present their essays during the final Lunchtime Research Seminar of Michaelmas Term, on Wednesday, 4th December. Following the presentations, a judging panel will decide the winner.
