OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Holocaust Memorial Day
To commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day 2024, we would like to invite everyone to a discussion on this year’s theme, the fragility of freedom. Join us as we explore testimonies from different conflicts of the 20th and 21st centuries, exploring commonalities related to freedom, oppression, and other experiences of persecution. Readings will be circulated to the mailing list a week before the meeting. Please contact the convenors to be added to the list.
This reading group is a place for students and researchers to discuss our research within a supportive community. The group will meet four times a term to discuss issues around our research, some of the main Holocaust historiographical issues, and the latest research and publications in the field.
