OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Doctoral Training Centre Open Day
The DTC offers 4-year PhD courses for suitably qualified students, giving the opportunity to develop core academic
and career development skills essential for a successful interdisciplinary research scientist across a breadth of areas and programmes. DTC graduates have gone on to pursue leading-edge research worldwide within both academia and industry. Applications are now open for entry in 2018 and fully funded studentships, including generous stipends, are available for Home and some EU students (conditions apply).

Open Day on the 29th November 2017, 11am – 1pm, at the Rex Richards Building, South Parks Road, Oxford OX1
3QU.
DTC Directors and students currently on course will give presentations on the programmes and application procedures followed by a networking session with DTC programme directors, industry specialists, students and alumni.
