OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed on the Staff Gateway and via email to identified OxTalks users.

A Brighter Future for the UK Jewish Community
Phil Rosenberg is the 49th President of the Board of Deputies of British Jews. At 38, he became the youngest ever President in the Board’s 264-year history. Phil is the Deputy for Brondesbury Park Synagogue. A consultant specialising in government relations, media, faith and diplomacy, he has served as an elected local councillor in the London Borough of Camden and was previously Director of the Faiths Forum for London. Before becoming President of the BOD, he served as a Labour councillor for the West Hampstead ward on the London Borough of Camden from 2014 to 2018, during which time he was Co-chair of the Camden Faith Leaders Forum and Member of the SACRE (Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education). Phil was educated at the City of London School and then read Hebrew, Arabic and Spanish at the University of Oxford.
