OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

“Empowering Young People as Decision-Makers in Predictive Mental Health”
Prof Ilina Singh will be presenting her current work at the Department of Psychiatry, Columbia University Medical Center. To register for this online presentation and receive the Zoom link, please send an email with your name and affiliation to Janee.Frankel@nyspi.columbia.edu . Thank you.
From digital phenotyping to genetic tests for diverse psychiatric and neurological conditions, young people are increasingly engaged in decision-making about the value of predictive mental and cognitive health information. In this talk, I introduce novel tools we have designed to build capacity and agency in young people to empower them as decision-makers. Data collected using these tools sheds new light on young people’s values and preferences in relation to prediction in mental health and wellbeing.
