Oxford Metabolic Health Inaugural Symposium
The inaugural symposium of Oxford Metabolic Health, a new cross-departmental and inter-divisional initiative, will showcase research at the university exploring the relationship between metabolism (in the broad sense of the term) and health. In the morning, speakers from a wide range of departments will present their work and this will be followed by a themed session in the afternoon exploring the interface between immunology and metabolism. Professor Steve O’Rahilly (Co-Director of the Institute of Metabolic Science, University of Cambridge) will give the keynote address at the end of the session. We encourage students and post-docs to submit abstracts for poster presentation at the symposium. A number of these will be selected as short talks.
