OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Observing and Measuring the Heavens: Manuscripts, Instruments, and Astronomical Practice in the Middle Ages, a Workshop with Laure Miolo
Laure Miolo, Associate Professor in Medieval Latin Manuscript Studies at the University of Oxford, will be giving a workshop, demonstrating how medieval people observed and measured the heavens. As part of the workshop, we will visit the History of Science Museum and Weston Library.
