What is money? The question has been disputed since Aristotle’s day. Edward Hadas, a Research Fellow at Blackfriar’s Hall, presents three answers. It is a symbol of many things, a treasure to be stored, and a token to be spent. Each meaning is true in its own way, but combining them can be toxic to the economy and society
