OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

How to drive societal impact?
Using your academic research to drive positive changes that address social challenges is intensely rewarding, but the routes to creating this societal impact can feel very opaque. In this Masterclass, we’ll explore frameworks, strategies and tools you can use to increase the likelihood of your research making a difference beyond the realms of academia.
Structure: Watch a 15-20 minute video in your own time, and complete the suggested exercises. After this, attend a 60-minute online interactive workshop where you’ll share experiences, refine your approaches, learn additional skills and create personalised development plans.
