A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. Merton College History Society presents a guest lecture by Dr Erica Charters (Associate Professor of the History of Medicine), who will be giving a talk titled ‘Humanitarianism and War in the Eighteenth Century’.
There will be time for questions following the talk which will then be followed by refreshments. The event is free for Mertonians, and £1 for non-Mertonians.
