Celebration of the 300th Anniversary of the Regius Chair in History: 'What is History Now?'
The Oxford History Faculty is looking forward to celebrating the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Regius Chair in 1724. George I established two Regius Chairs in History, one at Oxford and one at Cambridge.

There will be a Plenary Session on new approaches to history, break-out groups, and a concluding Plenary Round Table, ‘Changing History: The Regius Chair, the Faculty and Public History’.
