Digital Transformation of the Commonwealth
Nabeel is the Assistant Secretary-General at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London. He joined the organisation in December 2010, and supports the Secretary-General in the areas of governance, portfolio management, evaluation, reform, innovation and partnerships. He brings to the position 25 years of experience in development, democracy, diplomacy and diversity promotion. Earlier, he worked with multilateral organisations such as the ILO, World Bank, UNDP, USAID as well as the Government of Pakistan at senior levels. Nabeel holds a PhD in Management from Cambridge Judge Business School. He is passionate to make this world a better place for all by searching systemic solutions of complex problems, and by taking strategic, collaborative, affirmative, and impactful actions. He is a Distinguished Fellow with the Hull University Business School, and also lectures at Oxford and Middlesex universities.
