OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Towards HBV cure-new approaches targeting HBV replication and protein expression
Professor Peter Revill, A.M., is Head of Regional and Global Health at the Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory, located at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity in Melbourne, where he is also head of International Research Partnerships. Peter also leads the hepatitis B cure research program at the Doherty Institute, focusing on novel pre-clinical therapies for chronic hepatitis B, targeting multiple aspects of the HBV replication cycle. Peter is passionate about HBV cure, having co-founded the International Coalition to Eliminate Hepatitis B (ICE-HBV) as Founding Governing Board Chair where he retains an executive position.
